our pledge
The term “sustainability” is often mis-used. In coffee production, there are many steps responsible farmers take at all phases of the growing, cultivating and production processes, seriously and and methodically. We work with select brokers who source direct from origin. Someday, we hope to offer some niche direct origins. For now, we look for specialty coffee that offers high-quality characteristics to its end drinker. We want every cup of coffee to be sweet and personal, and reflect the specific character of its origin.
our bags. let’s talk.
We use Biotre 1.0 bags from TriCorBraunFlex.
The outer layers of Biotrē™ 1.0 and 2.0 consist of natural kraft paper and cellulose made from wood pulp.
How To Dispose Of Biotrē™ Bags
To dispose of a Biotrē™ 1.0 or 2.0 bag, it's recommended to remove the valve and zipper before placing the bag in your home compost. After 12 weeks remove any remaining bag material and throw away in your trash. Biotrē™ 1.0 and 2.0 should not be disposed of in curbside (industrial) compost.
Biotrē™ 3.0 can be disposed of in an industrial composting environment or curbside composting bins.
We hope to some day offer Biotre 3.0 in 12oz and 5# sizes!
